HOST A SCREENING

The film allowed us to reflect on our own journey’s challenges and accomplishments. The exclusive pre-recorded Q & A session with the film’s producer and our Co-op Board Members gave us a chance to share a thoughtful dialogue about our own evolution with our Co-op community.

— Courtney Tarrant, Community Engagement Coordinator, BriarPatch Food Co-op

We are partnering with co-ops and other organizations to present screening events featuring Q&As with the filmmakers, co-op founders and issue experts. They are an excellent way to start conversations about topics including class and racial inclusion, co-op history, activist strategy and the nature of social change.

Virtual screenings and discussions enable the highest level of engagement by allowing audience members to participate from their homes. Benefits include:

  1. A five-day window in which your audience can view THE CO-OP WARS at their convenience on the Show & Tell platform

  2. A live Q&A conversation on Zoom featuring one of our filmmakers plus other guests of your choice, such as co-op founders discussing the early years of your co-op or co-op staff discussing your co-op’s values and practices

  3. Your video message at the beginning of the film welcoming your audience

In-person screenings and hybrid events are also available.

We are eager to put together the event that works best for you! Sign up below to join our mailing list and/or receive information about setting up an event with your organization.
